September 1, 2005: We have raised the amount needed for the roof on the school at Grisson Garde in Haiti. It should be completed in time for school to begin in October.
We completed this goal three months early, praise the Lord.
Our next project will be to build a school (a joint venture with the local citizens) in Bassin Bleu, Haiti. We are working on getting together the figures for the needs of this project. It will probably be in the neighborhood of $10,000.
We are also working on a unified, chronological publication of the Life and Teachings of Jesus, from the Gospels. When this is published, the sales of this book to the public will be used to fund the giving of this book, free of charge, to prisoners in the USA. Our budget for the first run of the publication is $5,000, and we are setting aside funds for this purpose. Our hope is to have the book published by the end of January, 2006.
100% of all donations go to these projects. There are no administrative costs.
We are praying for the day when we can begin fully implementing the above vision, and its projects. We invite you to partner with us so we can move ahead and begin to do some truly effective things to help the poor, as disciples of Jesus.
